PR and Marketing Intern

The PR and Marketing Intern will assist in executing a comprehensive lead generation strategy designed to drive awareness and attract qualified leads for Ayoka’s B.O.S.S! software. This role involves working on multi-channel campaigns, content creation, social media management, influencer outreach, and analytics tracking. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and passionate about innovative marketing tactics.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and tools for managing content, scheduling, and analytics.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and Google Analytics is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Management
  • Assist in creating and curating content for various platforms (blogs, social media, email newsletters) that highlights the unique value of B.O.S.S!
  • Develop and manage content calendars to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Collaborate with the team to produce engaging case studies, whitepapers, and success stories.
Social Media and Community Management
  • Manage Ayoka’s social media profiles (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and others as needed).
  • Help execute social media campaigns and post regularly, following a pre-set calendar.
  • Engage with followers and respond to comments and inquiries to build community and brand loyalty.
Influencer Outreach and Partnerships
  • Identify and reach out to industry influencers, bloggers, and potential partners who align with Ayoka’s brand and lead-generation goals.
  • Manage relationships with partners, ensuring content is produced and distributed according to plan.
Email Marketing & Automation
  • Assist in setting up email automation workflows to nurture leads and move prospects through the funnel.
  • Help in drafting and scheduling email campaigns to promote content, events, and product updates.
Event Support
  • Assist in the coordination of webinars and other virtual events to showcase B.O.S.S! and connect with prospects.
  • Help manage logistics, invite lists, and follow-up communication to maximize event attendance and engagement.
SEO and Keyword Optimization
  • Conduct keyword research and assist in optimizing content for search engines to increase Ayoka’s online visibility.
  • Track and analyze SEO performance, reporting on metrics like page rankings and organic traffic.
Analytics & Reporting
  • Track the performance of PR and marketing campaigns, reporting on KPIs such as lead generation, website traffic, and engagement.
  • Analyze data to suggest improvements in campaign performance and better target audience preferences.
